The special anniversary expansion celebrates 30 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and will feature collectible products, foil cards, special artwork, and anniversary-themed Pokémon TCG releases.
But with a release this exciting, many people are probably asking the same question:

Instead of allowing our limited Pokémon TCG inventory to disappear immediately, our Pokémon 30th Anniversary products will be reserved for people who actively participate in our local Play! Pokémon events.

To become eligible to purchase select Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration products from OH Pharmacy, customers will need to participate in our Sunday Pokémon events.
This means that our limited 30th Anniversary Pokémon TCG inventory will not simply be placed on the shelf for anyone to purchase without participating.

We understand that requiring participation is different from the normal way Pokémon cards are sold.
However, our purpose is not to make Pokémon products unnecessarily difficult to purchase. Our purpose is to direct limited products toward active members of the local Pokémon community.

This helps us reduce the chances of our entire allocation being purchased by people whose only goal is to immediately resell the products.
We would rather see a child open their first Pokémon 30th Anniversary booster pack, a family build a deck together, or a longtime collector find a special Pikachu card than see every product disappear before local players have an opportunity.
What Makes Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Special?
The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration expansion is being created to celebrate three decades of Pokémon card collecting and gameplay.
One of the most exciting confirmed features is a collection of 30 unique foil Pikachu cards, with each card illustrated by a different artist. Every Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster pack is expected to include one of these special foil Pikachu cards.
For collectors, this creates a unique anniversary challenge: finding and collecting all 30 Pikachu illustrations.
For families and newer players, it provides an opportunity to experience a major Pokémon anniversary through artwork created by multiple Pokémon artists.
For longtime Pokémon fans, the expansion represents 30 years of opening booster packs, trading cards with friends, building decks, playing matches, and discovering new favorite Pokémon.
Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Products
The Pokémon Company has announced several products connected to the Pokémon TCG’s 30th Anniversary celebration.
The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box is scheduled to release on September 16, 2026. The announced product lineup states that the standard Elite Trainer Box includes nine Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs.
The 30th Celebration Tech Sticker Collection is also scheduled for September 16, 2026. It will feature either Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario, a corresponding foil promo card, a tech sticker sheet, and three Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs.
Additional premium products are expected throughout the anniversary celebration. The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection is currently scheduled for release on November 6, 2026.
The specific products available at OH Pharmacy will depend on our distributor allocations and inventory. We cannot guarantee that we will receive every product or that every participant will receive an opportunity to purchase every item.
Participating in an event makes you eligible under our store’s allocation system, but it does not guarantee product availability.
